Honda has just introduced the Vision XS-1 concept at the 2014 Auto Expo in New Delhi, India.

Described as a creative study model which embodies the company's vision for the future of manufacturing, the crossover can host up to seven occupants thanks to the three-row seating arrangement of the cabin. Huge sliding doors and the lack of a B-pillar provide easy access to the rear.

The Vision XS-1 is based on Honda's M/M (man maximum, machine minimum) concept which fuses together two different values, a sporty exterior styling and amazing spaciousness, in the compact body. It is also one of the first design studies to employ Honda’s "Exciting H Design" philosophy.

Although there is no production plan for the Vision XS-1 concept at the moment, Honda chose to debut this model in New Delhi as the Japanese carmaker is looking to expand into growing markets such as India.
