Jaguar will introduce at the Geneva Motor Show the 2015 XF R-Sport which promises to offer a "compelling combination of elegance and real-world efficiency."

Available in saloon and sportbrake guises, the XF R-Sport features a sporty front bumper, 'R' style side sills and a unique rear spoiler. It has also been equipped gloss black trim and 17-inch Ursa alloy wheels with low rolling resistance tires.

Inside, the cabin comes with black Suedecloth seats with contrast stitching in either Dove, Tan or Red. The interior is further complimented with a selection of Dark Oak, Piano Black or Carbon Fiber veneers to choose from. A Jet Morzine headlining comes as standard while a Dove headliner is available as an option and also for when a sunroof is specified. Bright stainless steel foot pedals and unique badging for the side power vent and the steering wheel set off the XF R-Sport's purposeful intent.

Motivation is provided by a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine which develops 163 hp and 400 Nm of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 10.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 209 km/h. In terms of efficiency, the model returns 4.9L/100km (57.7 mpg UK or 48 mpg US) with CO2 emissions of 129 g/km.
