Suzuki has announced the 2014 Celerio will make its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 4.
First unveiled at this year’s Delhi Auto Expo, the all-new Celerio measures 3,600 mm length, 1,600 mm width and 1,560 mm height, with a 2,425 mm wheelbase. It has a 165 mm ground clearance and weighs between 810 kg and 830 kg.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the Celerio features an exceptionally roomy interior for an A-segment car and has low CO2 emissions which comply with European environmental requirements.
Power is provided by a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine which creates 68 hp at 6,000 rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm, transmitted to the front wheels via a five-speed manual or an automated manual gearbox.
The Suzuki Celerio will be built in Thailand starting this year and will be sold worldwide.
