Dodge has unveiled the 2014 Journey Crossroad, ahead of its debut at the Chicago Auto Show on February 8.
Positioned between the Journey SXT and Limited, the Crossroad has been equipped with new bumpers, a gloss black grille and revised side skirts. There's also black headlamp bezels, platinum chrome roof rails, a "Crossroad" badge on the tailgate and 19-inch Hyper Black five-spoke aluminum wheels.
Interior changes are limited but the Crossroad comes nicely equipped with black leather seats, an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen and Liquid Graphite trim on the instrument panel, gauge cluster, center console, door pulls and steering wheel.
Under the bonnet, two engines are available. The 2.4-liter 4-cylinder develops 173 hp and 225 Nm of torque, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 produces 283 hp and 352 Nm of torque, linked to a smooth-shifting six-speed automatic transmission.
The Dodge Journey Crossroad will go on sale this spring with a starting price of $24,995 (excluding a $995 destination fee).
