Radical has recently announced their RXC and RXC Turbo have been inspected and approved for use on the road in the United States.
The approval process was done by American RXC owner Jeffrey Cheng - a landmark step for Radical in the United States as road registration is traditionally difficult with low-volume British sportscars.
Despite the difficulties, Radical says the "RXC has been designed to meet stringent Small-Series Type Approval regulations for both Europe and worldwide in all key criteria areas, such as visibility, crash safety, noise and emissions, enabling a swift and straight-forward completion of the process."
As a reminder, the RXC is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine with 380 hp and 433 Nm of torque, while the RXC Turbo uses a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine with 460 hp and 678 Nm of torque. The latter can accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 2.6 seconds and hit a top speed of 298 km/h.
In the video you see below, an approved orange RXC Turbo was spotted driving on the highway.
