Italy's Puritalia has recently released the first pictures of the production 427 Roadster prototype as it prepares for testing.
The sports car is dressed in a light coat of primer, without any paint job and finish touch. Despite being a work in progress, Puritalia said "There are very few cars out there that look good when still in building stages. We believe that our car is one of them, like a beautiful woman who shows all its natural charm without any makeup."
Inspired by the 1965 Shelby Cobra, the 427 Roadster is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine which produces 445 hp and 530 Nm of torque. If that's not enough, the engine can be equipped with a supercharger that allows it to develop 605 hp and 640 Nm of torque.
Every car will be built entirely by hand, so customers are assured "a truly unique piece of art that is a clear expression" of their tastes and personality.
