Kia has just released the first official images and details of the GT4 Stinger concept, ahead of its debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show later today.
Wearing an Ignition Yellow paint, the 2+2 coupe features a signature tiger nose grille, vertical headlights with LED daytime running lights, a dual vented hood and flared front fenders. There's also sloping roofline, raked windscreen and a double exhaust arrangement.
Inside, the cabin looks very minimalistic, with very few buttons, plenty of metal inserts and tight-hugging sport seats. We also notice a flat-bottomed steering wheel and see-through A-pillar.
Under the hood, the GT4 Stinger is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder T-GDI gasoline engine which produces 315 hp sent to the rear wheels via a close-ratio 6-speed manual gearbox. Other highlights include an independent double wishbone suspension, Brembo Gran Turismo two-piece cross-drilled rotors with four-piston calipers and 20-inch aluminum centre-lock wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero performance tires.
