Some preliminary details and official images of the 2015 Chrysler 200 have hit the web, ahead of its debut next week at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Accordingly, the all-new 200 will be powered by a standard 2.4-liter TigerShark engine which produces 184 hp and 234 Nm of torque. There's also an optional 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that develops 295 hp and 354 Nm.
The mid-size sedan has a standard nine-speed automatic transmission which can be shifted via a rotary knob and will be available with "innovative all-wheel drive" that is the first to deliver a fully disconnecting rear axle. The most frugal model can return 6.7-liter / 100 km (35 mpg US or 42 mpg UK) on the highway.
The 2015 Chrysler 200 will have a starting price of $21,700 when it goes on sale later this year.
