Peugeot has just announced pricing details for the 2014 308 in the United Kingdom.
Set to go on sale today, the second generation 308 is available in four trim levels: Access (from £14,495), Active (from £17,195), Allure (from £18,645) and Feline (from £20,995). It's up to 140 kg lighter compared to its predecessor and offers a 420-liter boot space which is the largest in this segment.
One of the features which makes the car so desirable is its premium "i-Cockpit" interior with a big 9.7-inch touchscreen display allowing the user to control everything from the climate control to the audio system.
Under the hood, eight different engines will be offered:
- 1.2 VTI 82 5-speed manual
- 1.2 e-THP 110 5-speed manual stop-start
- 1.6 THP 125 6-speed manual
- 1.6 HDi 92 5-speed manual
- 1.6 e-HDi 115 6-speed manual stop-start
- 1.6 BlueHDi 120 6-speed manual stop-start
- 2.0 BlueHDi 150 6-speed manual (and automatic) stop-start
Optional goodies include 18-inch Saphir alloy wheels, ultrasonic alarm, panoramic cielo glass roof with interior blind, Peugeot Open & Go system, Driver Assistance Pack, blind spot monitoring system and front fog lights.
