Chevrolet has officially announced the 2014 Camaro Z/28 will have a starting price of $75,000 (including a $995 destination charge) in the United States.
Designed to be the ultimate track car, the Camaro Z/28 features an aerodynamic body kit with a front splitter, extended side skirts and flared fenders. There's also a prominent spoiler, a rear diffuser and underbody paneling. Other highlights include a four-tailpipe exhaust system and 19-inch forged aluminum wheels with Pirelli PZero Trofeo R.
Interior changes are limited, but there's a flat-bottomed steering wheel, Recaro sport seats, Octane matte trim and a revised rear seat using high-density foam instead of a rigid structure.
Motivation is provided by a 7.0-liter V8 engine which produces 505 hp and 652 Nm of torque. It is mated exclusively to a six-speed Tremec transmission.
The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is scheduled to arrive at dealerships this spring.
