Porsche has recently introduced a special edition of the Cayenne, called the Platinum Edition.
Designed to increase comfort and safety, the Cayenne Platinum Edition comes with bi-xenon headlights, privacy glass and 19-inch Cayenne Design II wheels with colored crests. It can be ordered in a selection of unique exterior colors, including Platinum Silver Metallic, Meteor Grey Metallic, Basalt Black Metallic, Mahogany Metallic and Carrara White Metallic.
The two-tone Black/Luxor Beige interior boasts leather seats, heated front seats, a SportDesign steering wheel and a Porsche Communication Management system with GPS navigation. There's also auto-dimming mirrors, special floor mats and a set of exclusive "Platinum Edition" sill plates. Other highlights include Park Assist and Power Steering Plus.
Under the hood, two engines are available, including a 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine with 300 hp and 400 Nm of torque, along with a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine with 245 hp and 550 Nm of torque. Both units are mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission.
Set to go on sale in January, the Cayenne Platinum Edition has a starting price of €66,379, while the Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition will set you back at least €67,212.
