To meet growing demand for its products, Ford has recently announced plans to launch 23 new vehicles next year.
Accordingly, 16 of the models will be offered for North America, including Lincoln. These vehicles include the Mustang, Transit, Transit Connect and Lincoln MKC. In all, the company expects to have about three times the number of product launches next year in North America than in 2013.
In 2014, Ford will also continue its major global shift to provide customers with more fuel efficiency technologies. Two new EcoBoost engines will be added to the lineup, including a 2.3-liter 4-cylinder engine and one soon to be named.
"Next year, we are embarking on our most ambitious global launch year ever to meet customer demand for our products around the world," said Raj Nair, Ford's group vice president of global product development. "We are investing even more through our One Ford plan to serve more customers, in more segments - and deliver profitable growth."
