Chevrolet has released the first teaser image of the 2015 Corvette Z06, which will be introduced next month at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
According to the American carmaker, the Corvette Z06 will be the most track-capable Corvette ever, designed to deliver supercar levels of performance through unique powertrain, chassis and aerodynamic features.
It will complete the company's performance car lineup, which will also see the addition of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, Camaro Z/28 and SS sedan.
Details are limited, but previous reports have indicated the 2015 Corvette Z06 could have a naturally-aspirated 7.0-liter V8 engine which produces 600 hp, which would only be 38 hp less than the previous ZR1.
