Lexus has announced the 2014 CT 200h will have a starting price of $32,050 (excluding a $910 processing and handling fee) when it goes on sale in the United States early next year.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the 2014 CT 200h has an updated front fascia with a new front bumper, a full Lexus spindle grille, LED daytime running lights and updated fog lamp surrounds. The car has also been equipped with a larger rear spoiler, aero-stabilizing fins, a shark fin antenna and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Meanwhile, the CT 200h F Sport features a mesh grille, a new rear spoiler with two large air ducts and a black contrast roof. There's also "mesh fog lamp inserts" and 17-inch alloy wheels with two-tone graphite.
Inside, the cabin is equipped with the optional navigation system receive generation two Remote Touch Interface. An improved speaker design for both the standard six-speaker and premium 10-speaker audio systems enhance the overall listening experience. Other highlights include a new steering wheel, a redesigned leather shift knob and additional metallic accents.
Power comes from a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine and a 650 Volt motor/generator for a combined maximum output of 134 hp. The powertrain is mated to an Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT) which allows the model to return an EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings of 43 mpg city / 40 mpg highway / 42 mpg combined.
