BMW has recently announced plans to introduce the 2014 X1 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
According to the German carmaker, the updated X1 is set to go on sale next spring and will feature standard daytime driving lights, 17-inch light-alloy wheels with a V-spoke design and a new Sparkling Brown metallic exterior.
For the interior, when ordered with xLine, Sport Line and M Sport variants, the surface of the instrument cluster visor is covered in a soft-touch material highlighted by lapfolded seams to add to the premium elegance. There's also a stainless steel tailgate sill and three new interior trims: high-gloss black, matte coral red and pearl-gloss chrome.
To strengthen its pioneering role in terms of intelligent connectivity in its segment, the X1 also benefits from the latest Internet-based services in the BMW ConnectedDrive infotainment system including Online Entertainment and an ECO PRO Analyzer.
