The official Facebook page of the Dubai International Motor Show has claimed that Toyota will introduce a concept version of the GT86 Sedan.

While details remain scarce, the car is rumored to use the same platform as the standard model but the wheelbase will be stretched by around 100 mm to increase space in the rear. It will also have the same Subaru-sourced 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine which produces 200 hp and 205 Nm of torque.

In addition, the GT86 could also debut a hybrid version featuring the technology found in the Yaris Hybrid R concept. This one could offer 268 hp and is expected to be around 15 percent more economical than the standard model.

The production-ready Toyota GT86 Sedan is expected to make its public debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March next year.
