One of the first 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse has arrived in the United States and is currently for sale from Lamborghini Newport Beach.
Just 50 units of the Squadra Corse are heading for the production line and 15 of which will go on sale in the United States each painted in Giallo Midas. This particular supercar will set you back just over $270,000.
Designed to bring race track emotion directly to the road, the Squadra Corse is the most extreme Gallardo ever produced and is based on the Gallardo Super Trofeo which competes in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo. It features a number of carbon fiber components, a quick-release carbon fiber rear hood, carbon ceramic brakes and a prominent rear wing for greater aerodynamic load.
Motivation is provided by a 5.2-liter V10 engine which produces 570 hp and 540 Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed e-gear transmission which allows the 1,340 kg supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 10.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 320 km/h.
