To celebrate the company's 100th anniversary, Dodge has introduced the Charger and Challenger 100th Anniversary Editions.
First up, the Charger 100th Anniversary Edition has a Granite Crystal split-crosshair grille, special Dodge "100" logo on the center caps, a body-color rear spoiler and 20-inch polished five-spoke aluminum wheels.
The cabin comes with Molten Red or Foundry Black Nappa leather sport seats, a three-spoke flat-bottom performance steering wheel and dark brushed graphite accents. There's also premium floor mats, black-faced gauges, a Uconnect infotainment system and a Beats by Dr. Dre audio system.
Motivation is provided by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine which produces 300 hp or a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine that develops 370 hp and 535 Nm of torque. The Dodge Charger 100th Anniversary Edition package is available for a $2,200 (€1,630) premium over the SXT Plus or R/T plus trim levels.
Likewise, the Challenger 100th Anniversary Edition features a Granite Crystal grille with script “Challenger” badge, special badging and 20-inch polished five-spoke aluminum wheels.
The cabin has exclusive Molten Red or Foundry Black heated Nappa leather sport seats, Liquid Graphite accents and an embroidered anniversary logo on premium floor mats. There's also Mopar “Challenger” branded sill plates, bright pedals and a seven speaker Boston Acoustics audio system.
Engine options include a 305 hp 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 (available with a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic) and a 375 hp 5.7-liter HEMI V8. The Dodge Challenger 100th Anniversary Edition package is available for a $2,500 (€1,850) premium over the Challenger SXT Plus or R/T Plus trim levels.
Both limited editions will arrive in U.S. dealerships in the first quarter next year.
