Maserati has announced the 2014 Ghibli is currently arriving at dealerships across North America for a starting price of $65,600.
Described as a prestige saloon that isn't just for special occasions, the entry-level Ghibli is powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine which produces 345 hp and 500 Nm of torque. This allows the sedan to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 5.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 266 km/h.
Meanwhile, the range-topping Ghibli S Q4 with all-wheel-drive has an upgraded twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine that develops 404 hp and 550 Nm of torque. Thanks to the extra oomph, the car can sprint from 0-96 km/h in 4.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 282 km/h.
All versions are equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission, which allows for maximum comfort and shift speed to guarantee top performance levels.
