The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 has recently managed to lap the Nürburgring in 7 minutes and 37.47 seconds. This means it has outpaced the Audi R8 V10, Porsche 911 Carrera S and Lamborghini Murcielago LP640.
As we have previously reported, the Camaro Z/28 is powered by a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine which produces 500 hp and 637 Nm of torque, mated exclusively to a six-speed Tremec transmission. It also features Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, a limited-slip differential and a track-tuned suspension with stiffer springs and adjustable spool-valve dampers.
The 2014 Camaro Z/28 is scheduled to arrive at dealerships next spring and pricing starts at around $56,000.
