According to a recent report, French carmaker Peugeot will unveil a 6008 concept at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show next April.
Set to rival the Audi Q5 and BMW X3, the 6008 will use the same platform as the Citroen Wild Rubis concept and measure approximately 4,700 mm long. The crossover will feature a stylish exterior which borrows cues from the 2008 and 308, with a prominent grille, swept-back headlamps and svelte bodywork.
Speaking to Auto Express, Peugeot Managing Director Maxime Picat said "We will continually push the brand upmarket - it’s a priority over the coming years."
A production version of the Peugeot 6008 concept will be launched in China and could eventually be offered in Europe in 2016.
