German carmaker Opel has recently introduced the 2014 Zafira Tourer 1.6 SIDI Turbo, which is described as "most powerful compact monocab" in the market place.
According to the German carmaker, the Zafira Tourer is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine which produces 200 hp and 300 Nm of torque. It is linked to a new six-speed manual transmission that allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 225 km/h. In terms of efficiency, it returns 7.0-liter / 100km (33.6 mpg US or 40.3 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of 164 g/km.
Opel’s new high-performance family car’s power becomes optically visible through red "turbo" badging, a dual exhaust system and 17- to 19-inch alloy wheels.
Prices of the Zafira Tourer 1.6 SIDI Turbo are set to be highly competitive and will be published once the order books are opened at the beginning of November.
