Following its world debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March this year, the first McLaren P1 supercars are starting to roll off the assembly line.
Set to be delivered to customers shortly, the P1 is powered by a mid-mounted 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine which produces 737 hp and 720 Nm of torque, working together with an electric motor adding 179 hp and 260 Nm. The combined output is 916 hp and 900 Nm, allowing the highly-anticipated hypercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 3 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 350 km/h.
Only 375 units will ever hit the roads each with a price tag for £866,000 ($1,392,440 or €1,026,045).
