2012 Red Bull City Trial

After damp of sweat, Red Bull can proud to bring the Red Bull City Trial on September 21, a host of world class riders will be unleashed on the streets of Manchester to take on the grueling course in the new location of Exchange Square (bordered by the Arndale Centre, the Corn Exchange and Selfridges on its three main sides). This year's event is bigger and better than last year, with a new course designed by the world renowned designer Martin Lampkin, which will bring new heights of competition to this urban challenge. As they are pushed to their limits, the competitors will take on the course to fight for the title of champion in a three heat shoot out.

Speaking about the forthcoming competition, Dougie Lampkin said "This time around we want to give the very best riders in the world the change to come and ride a great event in the city of Manchester, which is better known for football clubs rather than trials, well that was until now!".

Red Bull athletes Dougie Lampkin and Adam Raga will line up against a host of other World-class riders in this event, however they are bound to face stiff opposition in the form of Japan's Takahisa Fujinami, Jeroni Fajardo from Spain and British riders James Dabill, Michael Brown, Jack Challoner and Jack Sheppard. Via this select group of riders, the second edition of the Red Bull City Trial will experience a new and higher level of riding, which is sure to result in a tightly fought competition.
