Bugatti has debuted the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Jean Bugatti at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The second model of the "Legend" series is a tribute to Jean Bugatti, son of the company founder and creator of the iconic Type 57SC Atlantic.

Limited to three units, the latest special edition Veyron features coachwork constructed entirely from jet black, clear-coated carbon fiber, making it the embodiment of elegance and the apex of technical engineering. Platinum was used for the front grille's surround, while Jean Bugatti's signature was laser-cut onto the petrol and oil caps, and painted Arctic grey.

Inside, the cabin has been fully fitted out in leather. It will also feature the same beige and brown tones that were present in the Type 57SC Atlantic. The seats, instrument panel, steering wheel, dash panel, centre console, door trim panels and windscreen crossmember are all rendered in chocolate brown.

Motivation is provided by the familiar W16 8.0-liter quad-turbo engine which produces 1,200 hp and 1,500 Nm of torque. This allows the supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds.

The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Jean Bugatti will have a starting price of €2.28 million, before taxes.
