American carmaker Ford has recently unveiled a limited edition of the EcoSport at IFA 2013. It will be available across Europe in 500 units, with 120 right-hand-drive models for the UK market.
The car will feature the Ford SYNC AppLink system which enables voice control of smartphone applications from the driver’s seat, along with 17-inch alloy wheels, leather trim and an array of advanced technologies. Buyers will also benefit from 12 months of unlimited audio book downloads from Audioteka.
Prices start at £16,955 and engine options include a 125 hp 1.0-liter EcoBoost or a 91 hp 1.5-liter diesel. The EcoSport Limited Edition and the Titanium will be offered in the UK in spring 2014. Meanwhile, the regular EcoSport can be ordered with an optional Titanium X package (£1,000) which will add leather seat trim, 17-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, automatic lights and wipers, and an auto-dimming rear view mirror.
