Datsun will introduce an all-new model in Jakarta on September 17. It was developed specifically for Indonesia and will cost less than 100 million rupiahs ($9,000 or €6,900 or £5,800).
This new car will be the first of two models to go on sale in Indonesia in 2014. It was built locally, backed-up by Nissan's global technical experience and expertise to meet the needs of the new generation of aspirational customers in Indonesia.
Additional information is limited, but Datsun says the car will be attainable for "up-and-coming customers who strive to realize the dream of new car ownership." The carmaker also said it will be "modern, attractive, accessible and reliable."
