To celebrate the original 595 which was introduced at the Turin Motor Show in 1963, Abarth will display the 595 50th Anniversary Edition at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week.
The special edition will feature a retro-inspired exterior with matte white paint, historic Abarth logos and handmade 595 graphics. There's also xenon headlights and 17-inch alloy wheels with 695 Magnesio Grey design adorned with a red liner and a sun roof, which is another tribute to the original car.
Inside, the cabin comes with red leather sports seats with white inserts and red stitching, along with a flat-bottomed steering wheel and metallic accents.
Under the hood, the 595 50th Anniversary is powered by a 1.4-liter T-Jet engine which produces 180 hp, mated to an “Abarth Competizione” gearbox.
Production will be limited to 299 units and the Italian racing car maker will begin accepting orders on September 15.
