Topspeed has just sent us a new render showing a possible roadster version of the Lamborghini Veneno.
As we have previously reported, several loyal Lamborghini customers have been approached by a dealer who asked if they'd be interested in a Veneno Roadster. This could suggest Lamborghini has already committed to a run of Veneno Roadsters or they're seriously canvassing opinion from wealthy customers to consider doing so.
If the Veneno Roadster gets green light, it will cost about $4 million and look pretty much identical to the coupe. The only difference will be the supercar's roof, which we expect to be a two-piece unit made entirely from carbon fiber that can be stored in the front luggage compartment. Production could be limited to 9 units.
Motivation will be provided by the same Aventador-sourced 6.5-liter V12 engine as the Veneno Coupe developing 750 hp.
