In a recent interview with Car and Driver, Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann has confirmed the Veneno Roadster will be produced.
While the fixed roof version was limited to three units, production of the open-top version will triple that number. The Veneno Roadster will cost €3.3 million (around $4.4 million), exactly 10 percent more expensive than the ultra-exclusive Veneno.
With the exception of the roof, no other powertrain or major styling changes are expected. That means the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster will be powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine which produces 750 hp, allowing the supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 350 km/h.
