Kia has just released the first images of the Niro concept which will be unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show on September 10.
According to the Korean carmaker, the compact crossover concept hints at a possible future B-segment contender "ready to take on the urban environment with style and tenacity." It was designed at Kia’s Frankfurt design studio under the direction of Kia Europe chief designer Gregory Guillaume.
The Niro was conceived specifically for the European market and will feature an innovative new powertrain. The concept, shown in Frankfurt, will be used to gauge potential customer response for future showroom models.
