Ford, America’s truck leader, has unveiled the 2014 F-150 STX SuperCrew, which is designed to attract "entry-level and value-oriented" truck buyers.
Positioned between the work-oriented XL and popular XLT variants, the STX SuperCrew comes with popular features such as body-color accents, 17-inch machined aluminum wheels, cruise control, customer information display, outside temperature display, driver manual lumbar adjust, air conditioning, tilt steering wheel and AM/FM stereo with single CD player.
For customers looking for extra style and personalization, the Sport Package adds a black billet grille with body-color surround, tubular running boards, 20-inch machined aluminum wheels, two-tone seats, color-coordinated carpet and unique body side decals.
Power comes from a 3.7-liter V6 engine which produces 302 hp and 376 Nm of torque, delivering an EPA-estimated 17 mpg city and 23 mpg highway. There's also an optional 5.0-liter V8 engine developing 360 hp and 514 Nm of torque, allowing the truck to tow up to 9,500 pounds when properly equipped.
The retail price for the F-150 STX SuperCrew starts at $33,145 for the 4x2 version and $37,570 for the 4x4 with the 5.0-liter V8 engine.
