First Rolls-Royce Phantom Dragon Edition crashed in Vietnam

The accident has occurred at 15h30 yesterday (20th Aug 2013) at the cross street in Van Dien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province in 35th km, National road No.46.

At that time, the Phantom Dragon Edition was driving towards Thanh Chuong district from Vinh city, when passing through the Bac Thung village, Van Dien Commune, hit a motorcycle in the opposite direction directly, which was driven by two young men named Mr Nguyen Van Cuong (born 1983) and Mr Dinh Van Hiep (born 1985). Consequently, both men on motorcycle died on the spot.

Shortly after the accident, the police were on the scene to examine and investigate the cause of the accident as well, but the driver of the Rolls-Royce was not been identified yet. A witness at the scene said, only about 1 hour after the accident, "the scene was cleared". Some people had seen the driver but they do not know who this is.

As known, this car is one of the 34 Rolls-Royce Phantom Dragon Editions in the world and only 4 units available in Vietnam. It is owned by a tycoon in Ha Tinh province and costs about $1.7 million (including tax) in Vietnam.
