The BMW Concept M4 Coupe has been unveiled in full detail, ahead of its debut at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Designed to preview the upcoming production model, the concept is finished in the color 'Aurum Dust' and features an aggressive front bumper, a power dome hood, an integrated trunk lid spoiler and muscular wheel arches. There's also 20-inch M alloy wheels and a range of carbon fiber reinforced plastic elements including the front splitter, roof and rear diffuser, underlining the optimized lightweight concept down to the smallest detail.

Under the hood, the Concept M4 Coupe will most likely feature a twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine which produces approximately 450 hp and 550 Nm of torque. It should allow the sports car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h.

According to BMW M GmbH Chairman Dr. Friedrich Nitschke, "The BMW Concept M4 Coupe reflects the BMW M philosophy in ideal form: It combines motor racing genes and unrestricted everyday suitability in a highly emotional overall concept. For four generations, the BMW M3 has put motor racing on the road and the BMW Concept M4 Coupe consistently continues to pursue this fundamental idea."
