Autoblog is reporting that the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse will have a starting price of $259,100 - excluding a $2,100 gas guzzler tax and an unknown destination costs - in the United States.
Production will be limited to 50 units with 15 of those destined for the America and they will be available exclusively in Giallo Midas (yellow). Meanwhile, customers from other parts of the world will have more choices of paint, including Bianco Monocerus (white), Grigio Thalasso (grey), Rosso Mars (red) and the aforementioned Giallo Midas (yellow).
The Squadra Corse will make its debut next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show with a 5.0-liter V10 engine which develops 570 hp. It is mated to a six-speed e-gear transmission which will allow the supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 320 km/h.
