Mercedes-Benz has announced the 2014 S63 AMG will have a starting price of £119,565 when it goes on sale in the UK this November.
As with every AMG, there are options for customers to personalise their car further via the AMG Performance Studio. The Driver's Package (£2,760) will remove the top speed limiter and enable the saloon to hit 300 km/h, whereas the standard version can do 250 km/h. Carbon fiber can also further enhance the look of the car with the addition of the AMG Exterior Carbon Package (£5,000), while the AMG high-performance ceramic composite braking system can be added for £7,090.
The range-topping S-Class is powered by an updated Euro 6-compliant twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine which produces 585 hp at 5,500 rpm and 900 Nm of torque between 2,250-3,750 rpm. It is mated to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT seven-speed sports transmission, enough for a 0-100 km/h run in just 4.4 seconds.
It rides on 19-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels and comes as standard with the driving assistance package, front seat comfort package, panoramic sunroof, keyless go package, Burmester surround sound system with six-disc changer, tire pressure monitoring system and ambient lighting.
