Mercedes-Benz has recently released a teaser video of the 2014 GLA which will be showcased next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Previewed by a concept earlier this year at Auto Shanghai, the production GLA is basically a high-riding A-Class and features a two-bar front grille, a bulging hood, roof rails and Mercedes-Benz's most recent headlight design. There's also bulging fenders, protection plates under the bumpers and a spoiler mounted on the tailgate.
Under the hood, engine lineup will include a 1.8-liter with 134 hp, a 2.1-liter diesel with 168 hp, a 1.6-liter gasoline with 120 hp and a 2.0-liter gasoline with 207 hp. The range-topping GLA45 AMG is likely to use a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine producing 360 hp.
