2014 Kia Soul priced from $14,700 in the U.S.

Kia has announced pricing information for the 2014 Soul in the United States. It is scheduled to go on sale in the fourth quarter of this year.
The entry-level Soul has a starting price of $14,700 (excluding $795 destination charges) and comes as standard with Hill-Start Assist Control, power door locks, privacy glass, power windows, disc brakes for all four wheels, air conditioning, Bluetooth, USB/AUX, SiriusXM and Vehicle Stability Management. Other options include 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, center console armrest, remote keyless entry and rear center armrest.
The Soul Plus is priced at $18,200 and adds 17-inch alloy wheels, along with a gloss black finish with chrome bezel for the front upper grille and exterior mirrors. Customers can order extra packages like Audio ($1,400), UVO eServices ($400) and Primo ($3,000). The ECO Package costs $400 and features Idle Stop and Go, 16-inch alloy wheels and low-rolling resistance tires.
The range-topping Soul Exclaim ($20,300) gets 18-inch alloy wheels, body-colored front and rear bumper tusks, LED positioning lights / taillights / high-mounted stop light, rear-camera display, power folding exterior mirrors and UVO with eServices. There's also the Sun and Sand Package ($2,600) which add navigation with eight-inch screen, automatic temperature control with cluster ionizer and Infiniti Audio system.
Under the hood, the base Soul is powered by a 1.6-liter GDI engine which produces 130 hp and 160 Nm of torque, while two higher-spec variants use a 2.0-liter GDI engine with 164 hp and 205 Nm of torque. The base and Plus models are mated to a standard six-speed manual or an optional six-speed automatic, while the Exclaim is available only with the automatic.
