2014 Hyundai Avante / Elantra revealed

Hyundai has officially revealed the 2014 Avante / Elantra, which will go on sale in South Korea in the fourth quarter of this year.
The updated Avante / Elantra has an overall length of 4,550 mm, which is 20 mm longer than the previous model, while front and rear bumpers are extended by 5 mm and 15 mm, respectively. The newly-designed front bumper, radiator grille, fog lamps as well as projection headlamps, LED daytime running lights and 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels add a dynamic, high-tech feel to the Avante / Elantra.
For the interior, Hyundai says the center air vent position has been moved upward on the dashboard, while the front center armrest position has been raised. The facelifted Avante / Elantra comes with rear seat air vents, 3.5-inch OLED display, ventilation seats, flex steer and advanced Smart Parking Assist System (SPAS).
Under the hood, the 2014 Avante / Elantra can now be configured with a 1.6-liter diesel engine with ISG (Idle Stop & Go) system developing 126 hp and 279 Nm of torque. According to Hyundai, the car delivers fuel economy of 5.4-liter / 100 km with the manual gearbox and 6.2-liter / 100 km with the automatic.
