Chevrolet has officially announced plans to debut the 2014 Camaro Convertible and Coupe at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.

According to the North American carmaker, the 2014 Camaro represents the most significant redesign since the introduction of the fifth-generation Camaro as a concept in 2006. The cars are distinguished by new bumpers, a revised grille, tail lights and a spoiler with integral antenna.

Further interior highlights include a new color heads-up display and a new MyLink infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen display and Bluetooth/ USB/AUX connectivity.

In Europe, the Camaro will be powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine which produces 432 hp and 569 Nm of torque. When equipped with the manual transmission, the coupe can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, while the convertible accomplishes in 5.4 seconds.

The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will go on sale toward the end of the year and German pricing starts at €39,990 for the coupe and €44,990 for the convertible.
