British specialty marque Ginetta has confirmed plans to display the 2013 G60 and G40R at next month's Salon Privé.
The 1,080 kg G60 boasts a lightweight carbon fiber body and uses a Ford Mustang-sourced 3.7-liter V6 engine which produces 310 hp, allowing the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 265 km/h.
Meanwhile, the G40R is essentially a road-going version of the famous G40 racer and has a 200 hp 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. It enables the 850 kg car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of 225 km/h.
At Salon Privé which will be organized between 4 and 6 of September, Ginetta will also launch a luxury clothing collection known as "Lifestyle" which reflects the company's heritage in Motorsport. Designed for the modern man, versatile and contemporary in fit, it offers the perfect wardrobe whether at the circuit, going on a road trip or everyday life.
