This one-off Ferrari SP12 EC has recently been spotted at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Designed by the Centro Stile Ferrari, in collaboration with Pininfarina and engineers from Maranello, the bespoke model was created as homage to Eric Clapton's career and his long lasting experience as a Ferrari owner. It is based on the 458 Italia and draws inspiration from the 512 Berlinetta Boxer.
Motivation is provided by a 4.5-liter V8 engine which produces 570 hp and 540 Nm of torque. It allows the supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 3.4 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 325 km/h.
The Ferrari SP12 EC reportedly costs $4.5 (£3 or €3.4) million, but Clapton has previously said the car was "one of the most satisfying things I've ever done."
