To celebrate the arrival of the P1 in Hong Kong, McLaren has recently showcased a very special 12C, dubbed the B&W Edition.
Designed specifically for the Hong Kong market, the B&W Edition has a two-tone exterior with a white paint scheme which is contrasted by gloss black accents on the roof, engine cover, rear spoiler, rear bumper, mirror casings and wheels. It is also distinguished by gloss white paint on both the air vents and instrument panel. The limited edition costs HKD4,680,000 and was created by McLaren Special Operations.
The P1, on the other hand, is inspired by the iconic F1 and powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine and a single electronic motor which produce a combined maximum output of 916 hp and 900 Nm of torque. This allows the supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 3 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 350 km/h.
In Hong Kong, the P1 is priced at HKD8.9 million (excluding the local First Registration Tax) and first delivery is expected in late 2013.
