The first images of the BMW X6 M Design Edition have recently leaked to the web.
Set to go on sale from August, the limited edition will be distinguished by a carbon fiber front splitter, black kidney grilles, new side skirts and 21-inch alloy wheels. There's also an air diffuser integrated into the rear bumper, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and body side graphics. Customers can order in three exterior colors: Alpine White, Sapphire Black and Melbourne Red.
Inside, the cabin comes nicely equipped with Merino leather seats with contrasting red stitching, a two-tone dashboard, an individually-numbered plaque and piano black trim.
Motivation is provided by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine which develops 555 hp and 680 Nm of torque. This should allow the crossover to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h.
Production will be limited to 100 units, but no pricing info is available at the moment.
