Audi has officially announced the 2014 RS7 will have a starting price of $104,900 when it goes on sale in the United States this fall.
According to the German carmaker, the most powerful RS version is distinguished by new bumpers, a honeycomb grille and two large elliptical tailpipes. The hatchback can also be equipped with an adaptive rear spoiler, a lower rear diffuser and optional matte aluminum or carbon fiber accents.
Inside the cabin, customers will get a three-spoke perforated multifunction sport steering wheel, Valcona leather sport seats, an RS-specific shift knob and carbon fiber trim. There's also carbon fiber trim, aluminum pedals, interior door handles and an MMI Touch infotainment system with internet connectivity.
Motivation is provided by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter TFSI V8 engine which produces 560 hp and 700 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the quattro all-wheel drive system via an eight-speed automatic transmission which allows the car to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 3.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 280 km/h.
