Following yesterday's release of the Swift 4x4 in the United Kingdom, Suzuki today introduced a five-door version of the Swift Sport which starts from £14,249, making it £500 more expensive than the three-door model.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the five-door Swift Sport comes with sporty bumpers, bigger alloy wheels, a bespoke exhaust system with twin tailpipes, LED type high mounted brake lamp and driver's window 'auto up'. It is available in four exterior colors: Silky Silver, Cool White Pearl, Boost Blue Pearl and Cosmic Black Pearl.
Standard equipment includes sport seats, auto air conditioning, fog lamps, push button start, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, HID Projector headlamps with headlamp wash and rear privacy glass.
Motivation is provided by the same 1.6-liter VVT Euro 5-compliant engine which produces 136 hp and 160 Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox which allows the car to return 6.4-liter / 100 km (44.1 mpg UK or 36.7 mpg US) with CO2 emissions of 147 g/km.
