Renault has introduced the Twizy Cargo, a new version of the ultimate urban vehicle designed for carrying goods.
According to the French carmaker, the Twizy Cargo has the huge advantage of a watertight boot with a capacity of 180 liters, accessible via a rear door that opens to 90 degrees. This conversion was made possible by adapting the cut-out of the rear end and doing away with the passenger seat.
It will be available in two versions. The 45 LIFE MA L6e features a 5 hp electric motor, a top speed of 45 km/h and a real world range of 120 km/h. Meanwhile, the LIFE MB L7e has a 17 hp electric motor, an electronically-limited top speed of 80 km/h and 100 km of urban driving range.
French pricing starts at €8,080 including VAT and battery rental fees.
