Porsche has officially announced the 911 50th Anniversary Edition will be priced from $124,100, excluding a $950 destination charge, when it goes on sale in the United States this fall.
For this market, the special 911 will be equipped as standard with a power kit and Sport Chrono Package increasing engine performance to 430 hp - 30 hp more than the European variant. This allows the sports car to sprint from 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds (3.8 seconds with PDK) and hit a top speed of 186 mph (185 mph with PDK).
Only 1,963 units will be built, but the German carmaker didn't say how many of them will be offered in the U.S.
