The Donto P1 has recently made its world debut at the 2013 Buenos Aires International Motor Show.
Designed by Argentinian designer Lucas Lopez, the lightweight sports car, without a windscreen or doors, weighs just 630 kg and will compete with the KTM X-Bow as well as the Ariel Atom. It rides on a set of large Pirelli P-Zero wheels and features black and orange interior.
The Donto P1 will be constructed from a mixture of Kevlar, carbon fiber, stainless steel and FRV. Motivation is provided by a 2.0-liter Audi FSI engine, but Donto Motorsports doesn’t mention horsepower figures.
When it goes into production, the Donto P1 will cost between $55,000 and $75,000.
