Aston Martin has released pricing and some new details about the 2014 V12 Vantage S.
The British carmaker confirmed the V12 Vantage S is the company's fastest accelerating production car to date after the limited run One-77 with a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 3.9 seconds. In addition, the sports car is capable of reaching 330 km/h, making it also the fastest sports car to wear the iconic Aston Martin wings, with the exception of the One-77 hypercar.
Pre-tax pricing for the V12 Vantage S is also announced. It will start at $184,995 in the United States, £138,000 in the UK, €179,950 in Germany, $230,995 in Dubai and AU$389,300 in Australia.
According to Aston Martin CEO Dr Ulrich Bez, "The new V12 Vantage S brings our winning GT3 race formula to the road. It’s a car for those customers who want superior sporting performance in a 'gentleman’s suit'. It’s the most pure, yet understated, driving machine we can imagine today."
